If you’re having issues accessing pages and posts on the website read this before calling VCS

This could be your problem.  For a short period we had a membership software installed on the site to restrict access to “Members” only.  It creatred a few issues so we turned it off.  Anyone who went to the site when the security stuff was “turned on” needs to “Clear The Cache” on their web browser because their browser has probably saved the old settings.  Once they clear the cache through their Internet Options setting the site should work just fine for them.

How To Clear Your Cache

Internet Explorer 8 and above

  1. From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History... .
  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
  3. Click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.
  2. Under “Browsing history”, click Delete... .
  3. To delete your cache, click Delete files... .To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies... .To delete your history, click Delete history... .
  4. Click Close, and then click OK to exit.

Firefox 3.5 and above for Windows

  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... .
  2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
  3. Click the down arrow next to “Details” to choose what history elements to clear (e.g., check Cookies to clear cookies). Click Clear Now.

About cache, cookies, and history

Each time you access a file through your web browser, the browser caches (i.e., stores) it. Thus, the browser doesn’t have to newly retrieve files (including any images on the page) from the remote web site each time you click Back or Forward. You should periodically clear the cache to allow your browser to function more efficiently.

An Open Letter of Apology About The Door Mats

April 18, 2011

LETTER OF APOLOGY

I am writting this Letter of Apology for all inconveniences we created with the units’ doormats removal.

It was just a misunderstanding when the cleaner mistakenly removed the doormats in order to give proper access to the carpet cleaners. It was not intended to completely remove the doormats nor to create an inconvenience, and we took action correcting this situation as soon as it was identified.

The cleaner will return the doormats at your unit. If you don’t have your mat returned by tomorrow April 19 please contact Didi at 604.719.3884 with a brief description of your mat and she will bring it back at your door.

Thank you for your understanding.

  • Ted McDowell and Mike Pearson  from Brighter Mechanical were invited to attend the Annual General Meeting to discuss the condition of the domestic piping system and the process to re-pipe a building.
  • The demestic  water system piping – Flow Guard CPVC piping has become compremised, residents in Solo, Duo and Treo·have incured water damages from  several pipe  bursts within the last two years.  It appears the hat water piping has become embrittled (characterized  by intolercane to impact loading and acidic water) and therefore p0ses an 0n-going  risk of c0ntinueus pipe bursts and water damages.
  • Although there have been fewer leaks from the cold water pipes, the council  believes it prudent to replace both hot and cold water pipes at the same time.
