NOTICE TO RESIDENTS STRATA PLAN LMS-3170 SOLO DUO TREO

SPRINGTIME JUNK AMNESTY DAYS
Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd

The strata is holding Junk Amnesty Days on June 2nd & 3rd, where owners can complete Spring Cleaning of the cupboards, furniture, etc. Clean Sites Rubbish Disposal will be on site to pick up the following

‘ACCEPTABLE ITEMS ONLY’:

Example: General Household Items
 Small appliances
 Furniture
 Paint cans (maximum 5 per unit please)

Renovation/Construction debris i.e. drywall is not acceptable.

Residents are permitted to drop off their unwanted items (acceptable items only) in the area blocked off in the Solo building’s interior visitor parking area on Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd. Items will be removed on June 4th.

This is a ONE TIME OFFER. Residents are reminded that the garbage room is for garbage and recycling only, not unwanted items.
Residents are required to dispose of their own unwanted items. Residents noted disposing unwanted items in the garbage room will be charged for the cost of removal.

Project Update – Solo Schedule

In order to determine the insuite schedule for Solo, Brighter will need to remove the 1^st and 7^th floor common hall ceiling. The removal of the ceiling will begin March 26^th and we anticipate suite work to begin mid April.

Here’s Why We’re Re-Piping

On Wed March 7, 2012 a pipe leak on the domestic line was discovered in the wall outside Solo 403. The pipe has been clamped and is a pipe to be replaced during the Solo re-piping. Minimal drywall damages in the units, emergency restoration completed repairs to be completed during the re-piping.

Speaking with Ted from Brighter Mechanical yesterday and the techs found some piping in Duo that actually has lumps on it, just waiting to burst; they have never seen anything like this. It has proven more difficult to re-pipe in Duo than anticipated as they have to bypass the existing lines before shutting the water off, or we would probably have waterfalls all over the place when the water was turned off and on !!

Looks like the piping is being completed at the right time, waiting any longer may have been very costly!
